Read & Believe

With love beside us all the while
A willing soul will stand
Walking Salvation’s thorn full mile
Through Christ’s almighty hand

But who will this on earth believe?
Accept this fact as true
Willing their pleasant life to leave
A Promise; to pursue

If God is God, and God is real
If faith is given free
Life’s hope is found when sinners kneel
With Heaven’s Guarantee

Who’s such a fool as not to try?
Who’d not the bible read?
Seek not knowledge, if God’s on high
Planting life’s living Seed

I may be foolish, but not a fool
I read the bible through
When wisdom through knowledge, came to rule
I knew Jesus is true

Why still on earth, is man falling?
While Jesus’ arms are wide
While The Living God is calling
Sinners to come inside

Why was this truth denied before?
Why didn’t Christians tell?
Why was hidden Salvation’s Door?
And Satan’s road to hell

By making Heaven’s Way my choice
Through death on Calvary’s tree
My Lord, my God I’ve heard Your voice
Here am I, use me…..
