Every written line in a great poem,
Or in any phrase of a sublime song;
There lies a deeper meaning found inside
That carries the truth about right or wrong.
Yes, everyone is indeed entitled
To express his own thought or opinion;
It really makes him more mature and bright
In giving his self-interpretation.
The scriptural term "ends of the earth"
Teaches the wisdom on time element;
While the biblical "ascending from east"
Reveals the glorious or shining moment.
Even a single solitary word
May say a myriad of lovely pictures;
Just like a lone pen of a great poet
Loaded with million prints and signatures.
Take a look at this amazing knowledge,
"A thousand years" speaks of another day;
And the "little worm" with a low status
Can turn the hard stone into grain or clay.
Behold the "four winds" blowing all around,
Not fresh but scorching in every corner;
They turned out to be the outbreak of war
Occurred in the past the whole world over.
Tempting ideas and the various views
Live right there inside many modern minds;
Muse them not in maze nor in confusion,
Unearth the secret, read between the lines.
The term 'ends of the earth' Teaches time element; 'Ascending from the east' Is all about shining moment.. you are presenting here in this poem very powerful examples to illustrate your point of reading in between the lines and understanding. thank u dear poet. tony
