Real Warrior Poem by Tribhuvan Mendiratta

Real Warrior

Rating: 3.5

You have a choice
My daily wager
O! Encumbering poor!
To die by one of two for sure—
Huffing fever or hunger cramp,
Which one would you, o social champ?
Satisfy a social cause!
Coughing virus is an invasion;
So you have a national obligation!
Hunger is your oldest companion
One -you have always known.
Hunger and Poverty
Are symbols of your integrity!
You have to save THEM from infection,
And make your exit noble and solemn.
