Realize, I Am The One Poem by Katie Bunge

There was a young girl who loved this boy
But the boy did not realize how much she really loved him.
They meet at a basketball game, and feel in love in just three weeks
He was a shy, cute, respectful young boy
She was sweet, big hearted, loving young girl
But the girl was unsure about her love for the boy, so they split apart
After a few weeks later, the girl realized she really did love him and took him back
The boy was overwhelmed, and was the happiest guy alive
Months went by and the feel in love even more then they did before
But the girl made a mistake and that’s when there relationship started falling apart
The boy made a mistake, but the girl forgave him because she was in love with him
Months went by, the boy, started to feel depressed and angry
The girl felt bad for him and started cutting
Over spring break the boy left for Mexico
The girl stayed home
He called her from Mexico telling her that he misses her and loves her
She always replied I miss you too and I love you too
Months continued to pass
The couple just continued fighting and arguing
On there 5 month anniversary, he decides to end it
She’s hurt so bad she wants to kill herself
The girl doesn’t understand why, but the boy tells her he grew apart from her
She loves him now even more then before
And she hopes that one day he will realize, they are made for each other
