Look up to the night sky
Where all stars lie
They resemble each person
And each of them has a lesson
Yes, they shine bright
They give out light
Yet no one knows when they'll die
Knowing it will just make you sigh
A person shows a smile
Trying to reconcile
From the painful past
That they can't easily cast
If you'd look up to the sky
For you, it could be day or night
And the clouds you see aren't nigh
They can just vanish from our sight
Like those memories we had
They are created, and then they are forgotten
Sometimes these things make me mad
They're all left behind, rotten
If you'd look again at the sky
Everything would seem blue
But it is just a lie
Look farther; it's just dark hue
Like when our smiles collide
They seem happy
But look deeply inside
They're actually gloomy
Do not falter
For you matter
Things change, you must realize
There could be no such thing as paradise
But let everything flow
Low and slow
For it all has a purpose
Life is but a thorny rose
Calloused hearts
Broken hearts
They'll slowly depart
With a brand new heart
Wake up and look up to the sky
Take a deep breath and slowly sigh
Don't let your mind wander
But let your mind wonder
