Reflections Poem by Judy Jones

Reflections

Reflections
Should be seen more often
than during a life crisis
Denying yourself the full spectrum
inhibits growth and inspiration
Our soul drifts through changing seasons
Our spirit evolves with each passing day
Sometimes I wake up
and wonder if my body and soul are in the same place
So I seek out to were it has drifted
And find it stagnant in a lonesome valley
Shadowed by the rugged terrain
I grasp it into my arms
and carry it to the tallest peak
Energized by the sun's warmth
Inspired by the full panaromic reflections
Enlightened we clasp hands
and dance amongst the clouds
Until the darkness carries us back down
Now where do we go from here?
