Refusal To Subdue Poem by welkin siskin

Refusal To Subdue

I refuse to subdue
thy temptation
that came as fierier fire
of winter solstice;
I could subdue barely thus
Love that knew not a restrain.
I forsake torment in thy love
Failed to come out of faultier fields,
and born out of divine order.
As they came, rolling like stones,
I hardly gave my love up
to live as true doves.
