Regions Poem by Marcel Aouizerate

Regions

I was Limousin'
But then Auvergne-Limousin'
And then Limousin' in three steps
Some stayed, some still
Getting Provenced-up, some
Feeling Alsace-Lorrain'
South and North
Got convoluted somehow
Turning all Poitou-Aquitain'
Or Aquitain' Poitou
After all it did not matter much
People remained there
Soil-stuck, star bound,
Hoping for more
Moving slowly
Towards Europe.
