Regrets Poem by Iohannes Silvaticus

Regrets

Rating: 5.0

I stole a kiss from you
Like a sheepish thief.
Your eyes averted,
Our hands diverted,
There was no other way
Then to move in quick and stealthy
Like a burglar in the night
With no pause to smell
The roses of your chest
But creep up the gutter
That is your neck
To plant a seal of my regret
Upon the pane of your cheek
For into your heart
Never again shall I admit.
Still I could not resist.
So I stole a kiss from you,
Because there is no way
That you again shall give.

An enjoyable read. You use body parts skillfully. Your ending is a surprise.
