Rehab Poem by tanesha davenport

Rehab

my mom is in the kitchen everyday getting hi
while just rooms away her kids lives are passing by
she says she going to quit, that she is gone to stop
but we know when we leave another pill she will pop
she looks tired from head to toe
we want her to go to rehab but she won't go
i love my mom but i wish she could see
what the drugs are doing to her and to me
we cant do anything but watch her die
while she is in the kitchen everyday getting hi

(none of this is real just felt like writting about this.)
