Rehab In Progress Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Rehab In Progress

Rating: 5.0

When eyes so
Damn blinded
By the drugs
Your hearing
Damn deafened
Your heart so
Damn frozen
You feel
Damn nothing
Then you pray
There's a God
And you live
One day more
And give thanks
To One God

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It's so painful to watch friends and acquaintances totally wasting and ruining their lives through drug addiction. My hat goes off to those who have fought the demon and won. Congratulations!
