Reincarnation Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

Reincarnation

'Twas the summer of '42
Etched in memory
The tyranny
Of a fascist dictator
Bearing an inverted swastika

However,
I wasn't born
Yet....
But a synchronous me
Lived back then
Persecuted and forced to flee!

Today, age sixteen,
I wonder:
Is it a dream
Or is it reality?

Nice write. Good to see a poem and away from the Senryu format.
