Relationships Poem by Mamta Agarwal

Relationships

Relationships are fragile,
A careless word is enough to kill
What took years to build.
To win the trust again
Is an act of will.

Once you make huge withdrawals,
From an emotional bank account,
You have to make huge deposits
To break the walls.

Relatives and Theory of Relativity remain mixed up in my mind; like Parkinson's - Outlaws and Inlaws! My experiece says that one true friend is worth more than 10 relatives! It remains as a problem of Relativity! -Raj Nandy New Delhi
