Relative Eco-Diminution Poem by Boghos Artinian

Relative Eco-Diminution

Years after we forsook
My early childhood town,
I went back there to look
Whether it was rundown.

Alas, it had even shrunk
To such a large degree
That I thought I was drunk
And was on a toxic spree.

I could finally theorize
That only I had just outgrown
Many an object in size;
That none had shrunk, I should have known!
