Reminding Me



They speak to me
Family long gone
As I age
My dreams are among them
Reminding me of childhood
The teenage years
The laughter
The tears
The loneliness
The challenges
No Help
Just learning
Surviving the voices
In my head
But now they return
At night
Deep in rem sleep
Talking to me
Reminding me
