Rendezvous Poem by MARINA GIPPS

Rendezvous

Rating: 5.0

You know...
french words
became as common
as trailer park homes

Yet rare beauties
in my own nostalgia
as old fashioned
soda fountains.

Remember the rush once
of what was called
'rendezvous':
an overflowing...

Of something as flavorful
as love
and as filling
as a belly ache.
