Rest Rest Afresh Poem by Prince Rodoki

Rest Rest Afresh

Oft had I learned to wade amiss
In honed beams of feared craton bliss
‘Neath the tumult fly, the lad was a hue
Of passion, pride and warm oceans so blue
His frail frat fame freckled afresh
By gallows of hallowed sect mesh
While the grail lingers in a heart most smeared
With solitude, fear, and what people feared.

Mine was a bloomer in fierce wind
A monomer on weak bonds hinged
Across the gallant ways of swift nature
Aloft the humble tricks of lush pasture
A boy in fine silk from the woods
In love with gold that sits and broods
Yet the sides of menace are new, too new
To him who must fight a peril not true.

I am home and it is all done
Seen the saddened sun swell and gone
The paths to reamed rest are twenty folds free
For choices of inexplicable spree
An old man still groans and may grow
The dazzling youth may slip and crow
But always, the pliant plight of pleasure
Always demands its price in same measure.

I am home you may gladly say
My task goes way long to be stale
While zeal stifles, life's medallions roam free
Anchored by luck, it makes one in fifty
Mine was a brave lad quite daring
On one skanky tour not caring
Yet I piously opt the grueling test
For when my labour is blessed, I should rest.
