Returning Home
I left you-broken on the floor
Turned my back on the world-and on you
You were always there-but I never saw you-blinded by hate
Always ready to pick me up when I fell
Instead I pushed you away
You tried so hard-to bring me home
Followed me to the ends of the earth
Every night I dreamt of you-like you did of me
I wanted nothing more than to hold you-and feel the softness of your skin
And to look into your bottomless sky blue eyes
I feel your heart breaking-but I will make it all better
I am coming home
I am returning to you
