It's been a while since I've taken the time to write
I've been afraid to say what's on my mind
Because I'm scared of what hides inside
The deep dark secrets I've hidden behind
All the lies in this world and failures of mankind
The mistruths in humanity and faults in society
The negligence and ignorance in sympathy and empathy

We need to find a boundary
An alternate way of living
Bound to our insecurities
It's time we find some certainty
Stand together and remember
We are one indefinitely
Tied to one another undeniably
