Rhythm And Blues: Tribute To These Ladies Poem by Bree Z Love

Rhythm And Blues: Tribute To These Ladies

Rating: 4.0

Andra Day, oh how I know it is possible.
Rising in a present day, I the wise can see your troubles.
It is of the old and the new.
A song filled with blues.
Alike, we cross over and I can too;
Send My Love, Adele with a black girl's power.
Thank you Jill Scott for leaving room for our new sisters.
Slowy Surely, I walk away; knowing we are united.
In Love and in War, on long nights.
Though we can be fearless, Jazmine Sullivan you hit hard
understanding the true matters of the heart.
Filled the shoes, Ditto! We got that part.
We share a conflict, yet listen to the openly; even in pain.
Mary J. Blige, Share My World in this love game.
However, never wanting to step on the toes of a Queen
she is no different. When we all are contending for love to the end.
Aretha Franklin choice words marvels the soul that stresses.
Out, to the heavens Mahalia Jackson expresses
for a deeper love;
from above.
A cure for the soul
that is no different than David's Psalms.
Us sisters alike have needs.
We play these songs and sing them; eating them like it's our last feed.
The playlist could go On
and On.
For a Lifetime, Erykah Badu.
Expressing the Love Jones, orchestrated within a blues.
I listen to the songs
I'm healed in my soul
and can get back to the jovial rhythm.

Rising in a present day, you are the wise you can see their troubles. You can send beauty of visible love to them. This is a nice tribute poem amazingly and tenderly composed. Brilliant sharing is done really.10
