~right Now (A Mother Poem) ~

Right now I need her
I need her a lot
She's the ones that was there
When I closed my heart
When the pain was full
And my tears were red
She was the one
That had my hand

Right now I need her
I need her more then life
When my boyfriend took
and broke my heart
When I slipped and fell
And shattered the glass
She was there with a smile
And those caring arms

But now I can't keep her
I have to let go
If she holds on to tight
I'll never let go
I will be lost in the need
To keep her close
But I can't...
I have to walk
Even for just a minute

Before, I needed her
To the point where it hurt
But mother
Dear mother
You have to let go
If you keep this string
Attaching you and me
How will I know what's to
become of Thee?

I'm sorry dear mother
I've hurt you so much
With my words
I push you away
So that I can see the work at hand
You’re a mother, so you’re caring
but is it too much to ask
I'm you baby, you last baby
but it'll be okay

Right now I need her
I need her a lot
Right now I need her
I need her more then life
But now I can't keep her
I have to let go
Because, before, I needed her
To the point where it hurt...
