As we defined our faith and God's character
We stay focused on the results of our own.
The judgments we make by both heart and soul
Foretell the future of our deeds to be sown.

It matters not who or what we become
God wants us to live the best life we can.
We must rely on faith, prayer and trust
God's wisdom, forgiveness and command.

When preaching the cross to the souls of others
It can be both joyful inspiring or sad.
Every time we respond as Jesus would
We become more righteous, worthy and glad.
