Rise Of The Cocoon Poem by Catherine Yen

Rise Of The Cocoon

Cocoon
Rolled and struggled
In a beam
A life of desire
Tangled the perplexity
Blooming its original innocence

Shed the shining on her body
In ecstasy
Unbridled its last passion
Light the steps
Thrilling the bewilderment of the bosom
Breakthrough the cocoon
Shivered the thousand years’ yearning

She stretched out the hands
Craving and summons
Like the spurted spirit of rose
Slept in the poem
Wake up in the wind
The nameless angel
Kiss the feet of spring

** In salute to Fang Yi, Hsu’s dance at ACC Night on 10/11/2010
