Rocky Pride Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Rocky Pride

Rocky pride

I drove by your house
-no stop, just a sigh
-recalling our past and
-stories of our love…
- (Broken rosary, family's!)

As had been agreement
-the door light had message
- "Someone is on the way; "
-it was on…

But whose was the white car?
-I hope it was Puya's.

The window to the room
-that has a king-size bed
-was closed dark and dead;
-to me, it meant too much!

Were you out and coming?
-or were you binge watching?

Many things came to mind
-all of them took turn, life
-from past, long ago
-to papers of divorce
-and birth of every child…

Oh, lady, it is hard
-to have you and be far
-be distanced from child
-that we made, and I love…

But rock is man's pride;
-after feeling insult!

It was you who crushed
-everything that I was,
-right after went bankrupt!
-And that was an insult
-on what I saw as love!
