Make room for Rumi
as he brings you
to your knees
Dance through the shadows
as sun streaks
through the trees
Percolate and ruminate
as his wisdom
shows its face
Decorate the life you have
with giddy dance
and whispering lace
Do not look for answers
to shine down
from above
Instead look to the moment
with its joy
and endless love
See love as a garden
as it blooms
and never dies
With intoxicating fragrance
that brings tears
but never cries
Cling not to inner solitude
standing straight
but very thin
Instead seek your Beloved
whose open door
will let you in
Allow the Rumi spirit
to enlighten
night and day
While you and your Beloved
find true joy
along the way
