Rose Poem by Garett Ryan

Rose

A rose by any other name,
Would still be just as sweet,
But with a hidden meaning,
It becomes oh so neat.

With a quadruple entendre,
It's like a puzzle to solve,
Four meanings in one word,
And each one to revolve.

Innocent at first glance,
But deeper if you delve,
A rose can mean so much,
It's like a story to tell.

Love, beauty, and passion,
Or thorns that prick and bleed,
A rose can be so many things,
It's like a game to lead.

So next time you see a rose,
Think beyond the surface,
For its true meaning may surprise,
And leave you with a purpose.
