Roses Poem by Suzy Paxman

Roses

Rating: 5.0

A simple seed was planted,
the others where jealous and ranted.

They were also fair,
but againest the rose they did not compare.

With the dew on it's petals,
the softness did settle.

I sent only the prettest rose to you,
because it's beauty reminded me of you.

I was sad at first because the roses beauty wasnt to last long,
but then I remembered the beauty inside of you.
