Rosy Skinned As Red Jade Is My Fair

Rating: 5.0

By LIU-Yong Translated by East-sea Fairy

As rosy skinned as red jade is my Fair
stunning and skinny
with graceful, natural and dignified bearing and air.
She was set a role model of decency
With extreme affability
she behaved softly and genteelly to me, her unworthy beau
constantly
during the two or three years or so,
when we shared the same bed and pillow.

Must have lived all alone my beloved belle
for me every day, I'm afraid,
after each other farewell
we bade.
Oh, my loving maid!
She must have spent all of the long dark nights in sorrow.
What does she think of me, a man whom fame and fortune have bayed?
You must feel resentful, I guess, woe!
and hold a grudge against me, an unfaithful lover, and throe.

Well-written. I love the imagery. I am captivated by your titles...all of them!
