Running Away Poem by Michael Arnold

Running Away

Come my love we must run away
And discover a secret place
Where each new dawn as I awake
I gaze on your beautiful face.

Come my love we must run away
To where man has not dwelt before.
And pass each day in loving bliss
In a cove by a virgin shore.

Come my love we must run away
Far from your father and mother
And break the chains they bind you with
So in peace we are together.
