Running From The Torment Poem by Heather Rhoden

Running From The Torment

My heart continues to race,
My mind begins to swirl,
I want to leave this place,
Flee this cold world.

My hands continue to shake,
My dreams begin to disappear,
I want to go before I break,
Run away from my fear.

My feelings continue to dim,
My love begins to cry,
I want to run from it,
Ending this unfair life.

My nightmares continue to play,
My sobs become silent,
I want to get away,
Leaving this awful torment.

My tears continue to stream,
My blood begins to stain,
I want to stop the screams,
Killing myself with the blade.
