No one here to comfort me
I wear a mask that smiles
To hide my feelings behind a lie
Dealing with your shit
And feeling nothing but pain inside
Deep down i feel empty and all alone
Something only I'll ever know

Nobody hears my cries
It's pathetic to say
You're right next to me
And you don't even see
Glad to know
That you truly never cared

Behind the smiles are tears
Behind the comfort are fears
Everything you think you see
Wasn't everything there is to me
Not like you would know or understand
You hardly ever have time for me

Every day that goes by
I'm slowly dying
More and more inside
Feeling like I can't go on
Like something in me is missing...

Til that day comes
I'll keep staying strong
Searching,
For the person who will stop my crying
Someone who will wipe my tears
Since you were hardly ever there
When all I did was cry
For someone who will erase my fears
Something you were not willing to do
So til that day, I'll keep on smiling
Hiding,
Hoping one day I can truly smile again
Til than I'll be here waiting
Hiding behind the mask I wear so well
