Sad Lonesome Man Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Sad Lonesome Man

A secret craving lingered
within his weary, lonely heart
to travel back through time
when prayer played its part...
and he made those wedding
vows ~ 'love honour and obey'
to the girl he loved so long ago.
He is seventy-five today!
