i stand alone thinking of you
i try so hard to find your soul
you have it hidden behind that wall
i have tried to knock it down
i ask for a clue you say you don't know
we work on the things that don't really mater
cause what really matters is behind that wall
how long can i try before i give up
how long before you see i can not bring it down alone
how many times do i have to ask to come in
till you kick me out again
you say you want me you say youll fight
but i stand alone and fight for you
when will you deside to help or let go
how long will it take for you to peak outside
i understand the meaning of your wall
but i don't want to hurt you i want to love
if you would just help me tear down the wall
i promise to rebuild with me inside
that way you will be safe with me
to help you fight against the pain you feel inside
