Scarlett is often unhappy,
Poor Scarlett's life is so blue...
Described as 'melancholy baby'
When tears fall, because of you.

So please Rhett, tell her you love her.
You cannot deny that you do!
Saying 'You do not give a damn'
No-one believes these words are true.

Outside, a chill breeze is blowing
And the skies are a darker hue.
Rhett Butler you must very quickly return
And sing all your love songs anew.
