Scent - Man's Love Poem by Tinnie Moe

Scent - Man's Love

Rating: 4.0

What's seen in the heart
can only be felt by those
whome own
an exquisitely harsh nose

Utterly airy
spontaniously
gone like a gasp
Expected yet rarely

Not perfumed but natures own weary

the scent of man's love.

So on I do wander
everlasting in wonder
oh! where in the hell
can't someone just tell
oh! where in the hell

find his lifegiving smell?

Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Finding a man's life-giving smell is discovering the intricacies of his character. A lovely poem written in poetic diction and bristling with insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
