** Scent Of This Woman **

(words by EmmaPassions Emesakoru)

I’m so consumed by the mere ubiquitous fragrance of her fresh French perfume
The candied apple scent of her sweet musky cologne constantly keeps me longing
The enveloping raspberry tang of her long black curly hair is simply breathtaking
If I were long buried and caught a whiff of her ebony skin I’m sure I’d be exhumed

Her mint-mouthed breath enthralls me and I discover how much I crave her kissing
Whenever she whispers her sweet nothings in my ear I can feel her soft Nubian skin
She is an archetype of beauty and I can’t help but desire her in a way that seems like a sin
Her scents surround me, pacify my soul and complete the parts of me that are missing

I picture her dancing all night long with me on the dance floor arrayed in a red gown
There’s nothing as heartwarming as that up-close feeling that she gives to this man
Nothing could ever reach down to the core of my being like the scent of this woman
If tomorrow were Armageddon, I’d still bask in the lingering smell of this belle of the town
