School Poem by Alexianna Brandhagen

School

Spirit grow dim
as she sits in her desk
with nothing to do
nothing to inspire her
dull classrooms
to deaden creativity
rules, rules, rules
to take away freedom
a full day at school
to take all her time
and act as a cage
allowing her no room
to move around
or grow
instead, it restricts her
until she can breathe no longer
