Scoff Law Poem by Paul C. Maybury Jr.

Scoff Law

A man in special clothes today,
In a specially painted car,
Told me where I could walk my dog,
And just how far.

He sat there looking out at me
To see if I'd obey.
(They'd told him 'its the law! ') you see,
So he'd sit at guard all day.

The law, the law, the law, the law.
Or Tra la la, la la.
La la.
