Scourched Poem by Howard Kern

Scourched

My thoughts they wonder
if a splatter occurred
Protecting my life,
in my castle,
From a silly ignorant fool...

As my thoughts wonder of whom is the biggest fool?
Of a long since past love
That was beat by that silly fool in my castle
Yet, she left with him
Burning a bridge
That scorched a knight's armor

So yet, still yet I wait the day to near
That fair virtuous madden comes my way
Built on truth and trust to the end of our day's
I need to find that one love, GOD...
