Screen Of Inconsequence Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Screen Of Inconsequence

The screen of inconsequence

The screen is blank waiting to be filled
with words, which become sentences
that can be good, or banal, mostly meaningless.
But I leave the sentences alone they have been
giving life and since everything is equal
I will not send any word into the dark
the underworld of delete.
When enough pages are completed
they will be an e. book that will
be read by no one,
here they can rest in peace undisturbed
by the outside world and its diverging voices
