' Scripturesque ' Poem by Kumaara Sukeja

' Scripturesque '

WOMAN- LAUDATION ' SCRIPTURESQUE '

Who dares to dispute God's Most Perfect Creation?
Whose smoldering looks precipitates a glacier's ablation?

'A woman may never acknowledge another's feat of glory '-
Hackneyed words repeating ad nauseam from times hoary..

Yet, there are men doggedly determined to paint or ink
Panegyrical Saga leaving even the Creator tickled pink!

Men unequivocally celebrating the fair sex's versatility
The Woman's claim to Virtue-selfless in her tenacity.

Women rarely congregate- but shine in individual isolation
By nature the Giver- content for herself with a measly ration..

The embodiment of patience in her toil from dawn to dusk-
All praise of her- on canvas or in words- truly ' Scripturesque '!
