Season's Poem by Archie Roberts

Season's

Season’s

What season are you in, are you ready for a change
What season are you in, do you want to be the same.
Your life before was all about you
About the things you liked, the things you do.
The things you enjoy and how you relate
To those around you and the places they take.
But God has His way of making you wait.
Until the right season that he brings to your gate.
He trains you and teaches you and wants you to learn
Before the new season that your soul has so long yearned.
He takes you through challenges you’re not ready to do
Because the lesson’s He’s teaching is no longer about you.
The love that He brings seemed easy as the breeze.
We didn’t see it ourselves because of the forest for the trees.
The seasons have changed and brings about a different show
Brings challenges to things we did, bring challenges to things we know.
That day that it started, that day is well known
There were tears in our eyes and our hearts had now grown.
Grown from the protection, from the armor and the shield.
To the cherish, and the treasures and the love it can yield.
We look around now with a new set of eyes
The future we look to seems high on the rise.
What season are you in, are you ready for a change.
What season are you in, do you want to be the same.
What God has touched and gave meaning to.
Removed the blinds and allowed you to see true.
True to the life that He has in His plan.
For every young woman and every young man.
In His world he makes all that was wrong, he makes right.
He builds on the blessings that number the stars at night.
What season are you in, are you ready for a change.
The season with His Glory, life will never be the same.
This season, this time, this place and road that we roam
Together and forever is where we call home.
What season are you in?
My neighbor and my Friend!
What season are you in the beginning or the end.
