Secret Lives

Ya see a man and ya know his life
Looking good and devoted to christ
But every mans a double edged sword
Great up front, got shit out the back door

College professors and good gentlemen
Great people, outstanding citizens
Your teacher with a girl
A fifteen year old girl
Looks like Mr. Pevec likes it a little young
Behind his wife, family, daughter, and son
It hurts so good, it feels so bad
Hes the real man you wanna call dad

Ya see a man and ya know his life
Looking good and devoted to christ
But every mans a double edged sword
Great up front, got shit out the back door

My girl gets around
A different night a different guy
But the fancy school, clothes, and big house
Are just shadows in front of one big lie
Only 15, must be the golden age
Didn’t have this shit back in my day
But what can I do?
What can I say?
What am I doing while she gets laid

Ya see a man and ya know his life
Looking good and devoted to christ
But every mans a double edged sword
Great up front, got shit out the back door

What im sayin is to trust no one
Lay in the back and grab hold of your gun
Cause everybodies a sinner
And everybodies a loser
Whatever the devil is
Murder, drugs, or boozer
Weve all got him deep inside
But most are scared and force him to hide
If ya just let go and let go of your shame
Youd realize that were all were all the same
Evils within but were none too bright
Most of us are scared and force him to hide
Ya see a man and ya know his life
Looking good and devoted to christ
But every mans a double edged sword
Great up front, got shit out the back door

'Ya see a man and ya know his life

Highlights the essence in your poem.
    Lol
You seem to have a very high opinion of men and the way they act; sinners all the way.

Like Christ said 'only the one who has not sinned pick up the stone'; I think I should congratulate you for not being a sinner.

But somewhere you are right in what you say. (Report) Reply

ARM’D year! year of the struggle!
No dainty rhymes or sentimental love verses for you, terrible year!
Not you as some pale poetling, seated at a desk, lisping cadenzas
