like looking through my eyes
you'll see into my soul
you'll see everything, i try to hide
look through my eyes
then, you'll see the curtains have been drawn

yes they've been drawn
the lights have been turned out
my heart turns away
looking through my eyes
is the only way you'll know theres something....

the walls have been built
the gate has been shut
the chains have been wrapped
around my best kept secret

you can never destroy it
or knock it down
