Secrets // Lies Poem by Julie Smith

Secrets // Lies

Rating: 5.0

Tell her you'll be back soon
And meet me at full moon
When the hotel door is closing you're gonna be all mine

Hang up when she's calling
Keep yourself from falling
In the dark I promise you to not tell anyone

Draw the curtains, close the window
A careful look before we go
Two different cars are taking us to the lives we know

Before you see her
Look in the mirror
Hide the secret under your smile and kiss her

Think of your mistress
When you're in distress
And get ready to tell the lie once again
