Seeking Nothing Poem by Stephanie Boccia

Seeking Nothing

Uncertainty
No reality
Discomfort of all humanity
Melting
Crying
Screaming
Dying
Brains exploding
Times decaying
Ants are crawling, world is falling.
Clear waters, no reflection
Running tears filled with rejection.
Warming hands without a print, nothing less than a huge hint.
World is crumbling, done with stumbling, stomach's rumbling, lips are numbing.
One day more yet one day less, life is like a game of chess.
The sound of falling, found and calling.
The cry of screaming, when death is dreaming.
Praying, waiting, crying more, desperation to the core.
Burning pain and OCD, was this born a part of me?
Crocodile snaps his jaws tight. Gobbled up without a hard fight.
Stuck your head straight down his throat. All that's left's your beaten up coat.
Loss and false hopes binding us down, it's our cost of not being found.
Sounds of voices peek in our heads, fallen asleep deep in our beds.
Woven tight to tie a knot, just so happens you get caught.
Neck is swollen crying out, but you're calm without a doubt.
Faith calling and showing our fates, knowing of death and full of hates.
Life frozen or caught on fire, why does it matter if it soon will shatter?
Seeming like your life's a float, while in your pocket is a suicide note,
Cut deep or shallow scratch, covered up with a patch.
On the table there it lies, friends and family reads then cries.
One small note sure means a lot, makes you think, should it not?
