Selfish
you've never felt the light
but you assume it is bright
one day you may reach
burn your hands
before it even reaches your heart
that's when you'll pull back
thinking of only the pain
yet, you'll regret
that you didn't pull yourself threw
instead of backing into yourself
never knowing what could've been
cause you only thought of yourself
selflessness is something we all have to work at constantly in my humble opinion SL! Very accurate view of selfishness, I think it is the 'fish' and the fear of the 'less' that is the hardest to step over. Smiling at you, forever trying! Tai
