Sent Away Poem by Brianna Wilshusen

Sent Away

Age nine I was,
Taken to my father's.
I gave everything,
Nothing in return.

Age ten I was,
Sent to a place.
A place far from home,
Fout months I stayed.

To get better they say.
Worse they made me,
and worse I got.
Treated like scum.
I was then sent...
Away.
