Separation Time
'I'm leaving you now, '
Said the leaf to the branch.
'Have a safe journey, '
Replied the branch to the leaf.
As the leaf fluttered off
To only God knows where,
Naked branch prepares
For winter's coming grief.

Great metaphorical write. Separation is painful but inevitable.
