Rain keeps on dropping, falling,
cascading, and his heart banks like a drum,
beating like the drops of falling rain.

Without umbrella over his head,
he ran to their secret hiding place
before the open sky, only to get
a glimpse of her beloved's smiles.

His heart sings tunes of love
like flowing water in seas and rivers,
like the winds in hills and mountains.

The music keeps on as language
of his being in deep communion
with the only woman to whom
he serenades and dedicates his songs.
